Letter to Ira Allen requesting his assistance in collecting some debts from Peters' friends in Vermont. Peters had loaned some money to Levi Allen and Israel Morey. Peters sent his nephew Andrew Peters to Vermont to look after his affairs and requests Allen's assistance for him.

Ira Allen was born in Cornwall, Connecticut on April 21, 1751, the sixth and youngest son of Joseph and Mary (Baker) Allen.
